New Gold Inc.-Vetted / Drill-Ready / High-Grade Orogenic Gold Target in Southern B.C.

High-Grade Gold System Along a Proven Structural Corridor

Available for 80% Earn-In / Option-Purchase Partnership

The Meridian Gold Property is a historically producing, high-grade orogenic gold project located along the Camborne structural corridor in British Columbia. Recent major-company exploration has confirmed multiple mineralized trends, structural controls, high-grade gold values, and priority drill targets. The property offers 1.0–1.5M oz conceptual exploration potential, subject to further drilling and technical validation.

The 17 claim - 765 ha (~1890 acres) Meridian Property is a historically producing, high-grade gold project located in British Columbia’s Revelstoke Mining Division, within the highly prospective Camborne structural corridor—a regional fault system associated with numerous past-producing gold deposits.

The property covers approximately 4 kilometres of the Camborne Fault and hosts multiple gold-bearing quartz vein systems, including the well-defined Eva and Cholla trends, along with additional mineralization identified in the Imperial area. Historical mining and recent exploration have confirmed the presence of robust high-grade mineralization, with initial drilling results returning grades exceeding 27 g/t gold/ 1.5m.

Recent work programs completed by a major mining company have validated the structural controls on mineralization and identified multiple high-priority exploration targets along a continuous mineralized corridor. Exploration to date has focused primarily on surface and near-surface zones, leaving significant upside potential at depth and along strike.Project Highlights

  • Historically Producing Gold System
Multiple past-producing workings confirm the presence of high-grade gold mineralization.

  • High-Grade Results
Recent rock sampling has returned values up to
171 g/t Au, with multiple results exceeding 20 g/t across several mineralized zones. Many older samples exceeded these numbers exponentially - See Pictures/Reports

  • District-Scale Structural Corridor
The property spans ~4 km of the Camborne Fault, a major regional structure hosting numerous gold occurrences.

  • Multiple Mineralized Trends
    Includes the well-defined
Eva and Cholla trends, with additional mineralization identified in the Imperial area.

  • Major Mining Company Validation
Recent exploration has confirmed structural controls and defined high-priority targets.

  • Underexplored at Depth
Historical work is shallow, leaving strong potential for deeper extensions.

  • Extensive Historical Workings
Numerous adits provide direct access to mineralized structures for mapping and sampling.

Geological Setting

The Meridian Property is hosted within meta-sedimentary rocks of the Lardeau Group, within the Kootenay Arc—a well-known metallogenic belt in southeastern British Columbia.

Gold mineralization occurs in structurally controlled quartz veins associated with shear zones and fault structures related to the Camborne Fault. Veins are typically hosted within phyllite and argillite units and exhibit characteristics of orogenic (mesothermal) gold systems, including:

  • Quartz ± carbonate ± sulfide veining

  • Strong structural control (faulting and folding)

  • Pinch-and-swell vein geometry

  • Evidence of multiple mineralizing events

The presence of multiple parallel and structurally related vein systems suggests potential for a broader, interconnected gold system.

Exploration Overview

Historical Work

Mining activity dating back to the late 1800s focused on high-grade material from near-surface workings, including the Eva and Criterion areas. Exploration historically targeted narrow, high-grade veins with limited evaluation of depth potential.

Recent Exploration

Recent exploration programs have confirmed the presence of high-grade mineralization and improved the understanding of structural controls across the property.

Key Work Completed:

  • Geological mapping

  • Underground Mapping

  • LiDAR Survey

  • Surface rock and channel sampling

  • UAV airborne magnetic survey

  • Structural interpretation

  • Soil geochemistry and prospecting

  • Initial Drilling

Key Results:

  • Many high-grade rock samples and

  • Initial drill results to 27 g/t gold over 1.5m (4.92 ft)

  • Multiple mineralized trends confirmed

  • Identification of structural controls on mineralization

  • Definition of high-priority drill targets

Exploration has been largely surface-focused, with limited drilling completed to date.

Mineralized Areas

Eva Trend

  • Primary focus of historical mining

  • Well-defined high-grade quartz vein system

  • Strong surface exposure and underground development

  • Confirmed high-grade gold values

Cholla Trend

  • Structurally controlled vein system

  • High-grade surface sampling

  • Open along strike and at depth

Imperial Area

  • Confirmed high-grade mineralization from surface sampling

  • Associated with major fault structures

  • Includes historical underground workings (Imperial adit)

  • Represents an additional priority exploration target

These areas are interpreted to occur within a broader structurally controlled mineralized corridor along the Camborne Fault.

Infrastructure & Access

The property is accessible via Highway 23 and the community of Trout Lake, followed by established forestry roads and historical access trails.

  • Road access to Camborne area

  • ATV access to workings

  • Helicopter-supported exploration

  • Existing trails and historical infrastructure

The project is located within a well-established mining district with a long history of exploration and development.

Exploration Upside

The Meridian Property offers significant exploration upside based on:

  • Proven high-grade mineralization

  • Multiple mineralized trends along a continuous structural corridor

  • Limited historical exploration at depth

  • Strong geological model supporting system continuity

The next phase of exploration will focus on:

  • Testing continuity between mineralized trends

  • Evaluating depth extensions of known veins

  • Expanding mineralization along strike

Opportunity

The Meridian Property represents a high-grade gold exploration opportunity with demonstrated mineralization and strong potential for expansion. With multiple targets defined and a clear structural framework established, the project is well positioned for the next phase of exploration aimed at unlocking its full potential - estimated at 1.0 - 1.5 million ounces gold.

EVA ADIT

The controversial Incomappleux Bridge (completely upgraded) seen above left - remains gated off blocking miners and property owners access all apparently because bridge does not have an engineered load-rating. The province either need to remove the gate or be prepared to pay affected owners millions of dollars in compensation to buy them out. I personally have wrote a letter to the Honourable Gold Commissioner of which I have not received a reply to this point in time. Here is a link to that email.
